02/02/90 - West Coast Tour & Bleach Cassette - Printed Fax / Press Release - Jarrod Lawrence - 06-19-2019 Notes: This was a fax sent to Caroline West Sales Staff on February 2nd, 1990 on Sub Pop letterhead. The fax was sent by Daniel House (co-founder and bassist of Skin Yard), who was Director of Sales and Distribution at Sub Pop before leaving in 1991 to focus on C/Z Records, which he purchased in 1986. This fax lists the west coast tour dates between February 9th and February 17th. Further, it places the official release date of the US Bleach cassette "within two weeks" of February 2nd (so likely sometime between February 16th and February 22nd). It's unknown if the defective cassettes of Bleach had been discovered yet, so perhaps the final release date was even later than this.
