question 2014 "30-10-92" release
#1
I admit it, I don't want to join another site, or try to navigate around a confusing site....

I have a question regaurding this release:

http://www.discogs.com/Nirvana-Live-In-Buenos-Aires-1992/release/4992249

I first stumbled upon it in LP form at a local record shop when it was apparently a brand new release;
Background, I prefer my boots to be cd format, and either the best commercially available release, or a download of the highest quality circulating...

I liked the old 'digital nirvana' bootography ~ which has been somewhat emulated on 'live nirvana';
I found a couple links for this date, but both about older releases, with less tracks than this pressing.
Then I found this tidbit;
http://www.livenirvana.com/tourhistory/92/10-30-92.php
So although this new release is more complete than anything previously commercially available, it still appears to be incomplete...

And then there's the fact that I can't seem to find this "new" release on 'live nirvana' - so I don't have a legitimate review on it...

Can someone please help me out?

Does it suck?
Is it worth getting?
Or;
Does someone have a way for me to get the best quality/most complete version of this date?

I sincerely appreciate any assistance that can be offered.

...and just to throw my own thread off tangent, this one looks funny...
IIRC I heard that this was a proposed working title - which makes this boot stand out.

I think it's kinda cool that bootlegs are being made again! - it gives hope to weirdos like me who like a silver disc version of albums/concerts.

im not sure if you read the reviews for the buenos aires in discogs! however if you didnt...

"Nirvana - Live In Buenos Aires 1992 — garp99 April 17, 2015
A product not authorized by the band, label or management is the definition of an unofficial release. This is a bootleg. It's a really good quality bootleg, but there's no grey area. If it's not authorized by anyone who has the authority to authorize it, it unauthorized. The broadcaster is given broadcast rights. It would be unheard of for a broadcaster to also be granted the right to release the recording of the broadcast. (Even MTV Unplugged performances are released through each artist's existing label.)"

as for finding best quality or most complete version, i suggest you try the livenirvana collectors union for that info.

we all know it's a bootleg;
the only live stuff released officially (other than the odd b-side, or something from a compilation release) has been MTV Unplugged, FTMBOTW, and more recently, Bleach deluxe (9-1-90), and (finally), Reading;
I would buy every official release, for every date - but the powers that be, don't seem interested...

So that leaves us with bootlegs....

My question wasn't about the validity, but the quality compared to the other (unofficial) releases for this date...

well, in your original message, you did ask "does it suck...worth getting?".
reading that, i figured the review i provided offered a decent enough answer in itr. but i guess you missed that part of the review. so here it is, again...
